The EWHS music boosters released the following list of notable dates:

Dec. 4 – Gala Meeting – 6 p.m. – Band Room

Dec. 4 – Music Boosters Meeting – Orchestra Room

Dec. 6 – Winter Jazz Night – 7:30 p.m. Jazz I, II, Lab, and Mello-Aires in the Little Theater – $5 suggested donation

Dec. 11 – Band Photos – after school – wear black pants, socks and shoes.

Dec. 11 – Winter Concert #1 – Chamber, Symphonic Orchestra and Bel Canto Choir -In the Great Hall – 7:30 p.m. – $2 donation

Dec. 13 – Jazz II at Third Place Books in Lake Forest Park

Dec. 18 – Winter Concert #2 – 7:30 p.m. Concert, Symphonic and Wind Symphony Bands In the Great Hall – $2 donation

Music Booster meeting this Tuesday

Music Booster monthly meeting is this Tuesday in the Choir/Orchestra room beginning at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come and support the music program. Added incentive – we always have coffee and treats!

Gala Committee meeting this Tuesday

There will be a Gala Committee meeting is this Tuesday in the band room beginning at 6 p.m. If you thought you had missed out on joining this amazing committee – fear not – we welcome any and all parents who would like to join/help with the Gala planning!

Music Advocacy Coalition Workshop this Thursday

On Thursday night , Dec. 6, from 7-8:30 p.m., Edmonds School District and SKMEA will be hosting a Music Advocacy Workshop at the Edmonds School District office (20420 68th Ave. W., Lynnwood, WA 98036). Any and all interested educators, parents and community members are invited to attend. Please email Scott Barnes if you plan on attending. Scott Barnes is the Manager of Visual and Performing Arts, in the Edmonds School District and President-Elect, Washington Music Educators Association.

The Wind Symphony, Jazz I and the Bel Canto Choir will perform for invited classes during period 4 in an effort to share our art community with the greater student body.

On Tuesday Dec. 11, the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz II, Jazz Lab and more will take photos after school in the Theater in full uniform with instruments. Please plan ahead to be ready with all materials.
