Congratulations to Michael Cummings, a senior and member of the Meadowdale High School football team, for being named to the 3A second team, defense, on the 2012 Associated Press Washington all-state football team list.
Sports writers around the state vote for those players on the list, which was announced Friday.

I’ve had the pleasure of watching Michael, from 1st grade, grow into a wonderful young man and a top notch athlete. I have photographed him playing football the last couple of seasons and it’s been a real pleasure. Michael is my favorite athlete who never gives less than 100%. As a senior, he’ll go on and do great things and I for one will surely miss him in those Friday Night Lights!
