Driftwood Players President discusses new website

Driftwood websiteWe recently learned The Driftwood Players improved their website, so we checked in with the troupe’s President, Dutch Heetbrink, for details.

My Edmonds News:  What do you want visitors to experience with the new site?

D.H.: We needed to upgrade our website’s “look and feel” to reflect how cool, hip, rad, and with-the-times The Edmonds Driftwood Players really are. We also needed the ability to quickly add or change the information on our site so that our members, volunteers and patrons have a convenient way to get up-to-date information about The Driftwood Players 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. An important part of that is the ability to purchase tickets or register for events any time day or night, not just when our box office is open. Last but not least, we wanted to give our donors, community partners and supporters a suitable place to show their support. We are continuing to expand the website’s content.

My Edmonds News: What do you like best about the Driftwood Players?

D.H.: Great productions created by great people. A wonderful variety of plays and musicals for young and young-at-heart. Close to home. Very affordable: close enough for dinner at home, low ticket prices, free parking. Produced by your local friends and neighbors. With live performances, we are the original 3D.
