Former Meadowdale High School football player Naji Roshad Moore-Taylor is in Island County Jail Wednesday after he and a 21-year-old Bothell woman were arrested by Renton police Tuesday night for allegedly assaulting a Camano Island woman in her home Jan. 3.
Moore-Taylor, also 21, and Megan Noelle Failing were arrested in Renton Tuesday night after being on the run from Island County authorities following the assault. According to Island County Sheriff Mark Brown, both have been charged with first-degree assault, kidnapping, robbery and burglary, all involving use of a firearm. Bail has been set at $250,000 for Moore-Taylor and Failing, who are scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Jan. 22.
The pair is accused of assaulting and shooting the 29-year-old woman in her home around 8 a.m. Jan. 3.
