Sculpting Workshop announces openings

Edmonds Sculptors Workshop provided the following notice of openings in their studio:

“Sculptors Workshop, room 211, the sculptors side of the organization has openings in their studio. They are also offering for the first time a beginning clay class. Learn pinch, coil, slab methods of working with clay. (No potter’s wheels or molds.) All materials provided, but students can bring in other materials or tools if they wish. Instructor will demonstrate each week, but students can create objects of their choice. The series runs Wednesdays starting Jan. 9, from6:30-8:30pm. The cost is $50 per month plus $10 supply fee for low-fire clay and glazes. Contact Janet @425-877-8587.

“Also, there is available the camaraderie of other self-directed clay artists in a loosely structured creative environment at the same site for more advanced people. We have shared workspace, storage for unfinished artworks and kiln firings. Intermediate and advanced . No Potter’s wheels. Good clean up is a must. These are three hour-long times each week, and once you’re with us for awhile, more free studio time. Cost is $60 month.
