“Not using social media in 2013 is like not being listed in the phone book back in 1963” – that’s according to the promo for the Chamber of Commerce’s 425 Launch event set for Jan. 23, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., at Edmonds City Hall, Brackett Meeting Room. The free event will be led by Matt Cail of Super Charge Marketing, and promises to help local business owners “avoid common pitfalls and build on what works for engaging and interacting with clients and prospects on social media.” No reservations required.
About 425 Launch: A joint program of the Economic Development Committee of the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce and Edmonds Community College, 425 Launch strengthens the greater Edmonds business community by promoting and fostering entrepreneurship by providing a platform for businesses to start, build and grow. Over the past three years, discussions have focused on moving from the corporate world into entrepreneurship, social media, tax and accounting, art entrepreneurship and other areas.
