ArtWorks now accepting once-loved art donations

Do you have art you would like to donate to ArtWorks’ Eighth annual Previously Loved Art Sale? Artwork – including paintings, drawings, art posters, etc.), pottery, art books or periodicals, art supplies, or any arts-related item – is now being accepted for this event which will take place Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The sale is sponsored by the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation and proceeds are used to benefit arts educational programs throughout Edmonds. Donations can be made at ArtWorks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. or by appointment by calling 425-774-6049.  All donations are deductible per IRS guidelines, and a receipt will be provided.

ArtWorks is located at 201 Second Ave. South on the corner of Dayton in downtown Edmonds. Parking is available in front of the building and on the street. The facility is fully accessible to persons with disabilities.

ArtWorks is a gathering place for artists offering classes, workshops and exhibit space and is supported by the Edmonds Arts Festival (EAF) and the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation (EAFF). The annual Edmonds Arts Festival held on Father’s Day weekend is the main support of the EAFF, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching the arts through the cultural and educational growth of our community. In addition to ArtWorks, the EAFF also supports community and educational grants, scholarships and the EAF Museum at the Frances Anderson Center in Edmonds.
