Egg hunts in Edmonds Saturday

Looking for egg hunts in Edmonds? Here are two free events to choose from on Saturday.

The city’s annual Edmonds egg hunt is returning on Saturday, March 30, but this time it will be a new location: Frances Anderson Center field, 700 Main St.

Kids ages 10 and under scramble for chocolate eggs, candy and prizes in age-appropriate hunt areas. Bring a non-perishable food donation for the food bank and your basket. The event, which starts at 10 a.m., will be held rain or shine. The event is sponsored by Sound Women’s Care and Edmonds Parks and Recreation with support from Nama’s Candy Store, the Rotary Clubs of Edmonds and Snohomish County Fire District 1.

The 17th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Edmonds Lutheran Church is at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church, 23525 84th Ave. W. It features 12,500 plastic eggs, 300 baskets and 300 golden eggs.

This event is free and welcome to all. Refreshments are served.

  1. Your article does not mention the time in the text. Your headline date shows March 26 at 10:00 so not sure if this is the posting time or the time of the event which is on 30th.

  2. Please don’t tell me the city of Edmonds Rotary, or whomever makes those decisions, did not decide to drop “Easter” from the event’s name? I really hope not. That would be a shame…
