Here’s the latest news from Forever Home Dog Rescue:
The organization is raising money for a couple of surgeries needed by two of the dogs in the rescue. “We have joined a photo contest with Petco Foundation, which raises money for all rescue animals, but also has some great cash prizes for the groups with the most votes,” said founder Diane Swanberg. Votes are $1 a piece and the minimum is $5.
On April 2, from 5-8 p.m., Forever Home Dog Rescue will be the beneficiary of Red Onion Burger’s Tuesday fundraiser in Mountlake Terrace. Red Onion is donating 20 percent of all sales and all tips during those hours, and “to go” orders count.
