Barbara McNaughton, owner of Bluefish Designs on 5th Avenue, recently provided a notice celebrating her time as a shop owner:

“After eight plus years I have decided to close my store, Bluefish Designs, on June 1, 2013. I have thoroughly enjoyed being an integral part of the Edmonds retail community, and I will truly miss the daily interaction, however I am excited for my next chapter.

“To all of you, I would like to give a heartfelt thank you for your support. Over the years I have met many wonderful people and developed great friendships, and I will certainly miss seeing all of you on a regular basis. As most of you know, making jewelry is a passion of mine and I plan on offering it online in the future. I will send out an email with that web address when the time comes.

“Again, thank you so much for your friendships and support of Bluefish Designs. Anni the shop dog and I will be seeing you around town!”

Thank you, Barbara, for being a fantastic Edmonds shop owner. We look forward to your ongoing success.

  3. Barb, I’m sorry you’re deciding to close the shop. Your ‘neighbor’ will miss you and I think Annie will miss your ‘neighbor’ also. You’re a wonderful person. Take Care.
