Steve Hartley of Muggshotz Caricatures was certainly on pace to break the unofficial record for the most caricatures draw in one hour Sunday evening. The current record stands at 129 caricatures, and Hartley completed 65 sketches in less than a half hour — all part of a fundraiser for Edmonds-based Operation Military Family, held at Lynnwood Bowl and Skate.

A light turnout prevented Hartley from going for the record this time, but Operation Military Family President Michael Schindler said he viewed Sunday’s event as “a trial run” for another attempt this summer, possibly as part of Fourth of July festivities in downtown Edmonds.

  1. Steve was truly on pace – our thanks to Steve and to Larry from Lynnwood Bowl and Skate for putting this event together; our team at OMF Cares is truly appreciative and grateful – and we know that more Veterans and their families will be served as a result.

Also, just for clarification, Jay Jenkins is the Executive Director for OMF’s non-profit division.
