The Warriors lost to the Bearcats 10-2 on their home softball field Wednesday. E-W’s Ari Girouard and Kaylie Whitmore both went 2 for 3. Girouard hit a double and Whitmore hit a triple. Whitmore also scored both of the Warriors runs.
Cassady Orstad went 2-for-4 and Brooklynn Bailey went 3-for-4.
Michaela Johnson hit a two-run home run for Monroe, and Rachael Delamare and Kathleen Sundet each went 2-for-4.
The Warriors play their next game at home on Monday against Lynnwood at 4 p.m.

So, what happened to coveage of the Meadowdale baseball and softball programs. The baseball team beat Number One ranked Shorewood 3-1 on Wednesday, and the fastpitch-softball girls lead the Wesco 3-A South league.
