With two outs and bases loaded in the eighth inning, Alex Hull had the game-winning hit to break a 3-3 tie and give the Warriors the first game of the critical three-game series against the Bruins, which will determine the Wesco 4A champions.

The Warriors were led by Beto Leon-Garcia, who scored two goals, and Andrew Song, who added one. Goalkeeper Griffin Small earned the shutout in net.

Wyatt Walker scored the Mavs’ only goal in the loss.
