The Edmonds Chamber of Commerce recently appointed four new members to its Board of Directors — Bill Wood, Theresa Catt, David Jones and Jeff Ritter. “Each brings a breadth of experience and valuable skill set to ensure the leadership of the Chamber continues to evolve to support continued growth of the Chamber.” said Ron Clyborne, Edmonds Chamber President.
– Bill Wood, attorney at law, was admitted to the Washington Bar in 1982, served 12 years as a principal at Carney Badley Spellman and then as the in-house lawyer at Starbucks until 2005. He has been in private practice since 2005. He serves as vice president of the Edmonds Chamber Foundation Board.
– Theresa Catt, KeyBank, Edmonds Branch Manager. Catt began her career with Keybank in October 2008 at the Industrial KeyCenter, and has been at the Edmonds Branch since its opening in October 2012. She serves as chair for the Halloween Trick-or-Treat event committee.
– David Jones, ADP, Associate Sales Representative for the Seattle Region. In addition to serving as a Chamber Ambassador and volunteer at the Taste of Edmonds and 4th of July celebration, Jones is one of the leaders of the newly formed Young Professionals Network.
– Jeff Ritter, AdvoCare Independent Consultant. With a background in motorsports, auto and aircraft painting, Ritter is an active member in the Chamber Ambassador program and looks forward to lending his skills to The Edmonds Classic Car Show committee.
Clyborne said the board appointments complement the Chamber’s significant growth over the past year: Membership has increased by 100 to over 450 members, and the organization has added programs such as the Young Professionals Network and the Annual Business Expo to better serve existing members.
The Chamber also presents community events that include “A Taste of Edmonds,” the David Stern Memorial Golf Classic, Edmonds Classic Car Show, Halloween Trick-or-Treat and Tree Lighting Ceremony. The chamber’s annual 4th of July celebration
is presented by the Edmonds Chamber Foundation with support from the Hazel Miller Foundation.
