After a year and a half of retreats, stakeholder meetings, brainstorming sessions and surveys, the final draft of the City of Edmonds strategic plan is scheduled to be presented to the Edmonds City Council for approval Tuesday night.
Also on the Tuesday night agenda is a public hearing on a draft proposal to amend the Edmonds Community Development Code to adopt design standards that would replace the requirement for building step backs in the following downtown zones:
BD2 = Downtown Mixed Commercial
BD3 = Downtown Convenience Commercial
BD4 = Downtown Mixed Residential
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Public Safety Complex, 250 5th Ave. N. You can also view it live on television through Comcast channel 21 and Frontier channel 39 or watch it live online via the city’s website. The meeting will be rebroadcast at noon and 7 p.m. on channels 21 and 39.
