Have unused prescription drugs and aren’t sure what to do with them? This Saturday is National Drug Take-back Day, and you can drop them off at two locations in Edmonds: the Edmonds Police Department, 250 5th Ave. N., from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. or all day at the Edmonds Bartell Drug,  23028 100th Ave. W.

Unintentional poisonings are at a record high in Snohomish County, according to information provided by the Snohomish Health District. To help protect the public’s safety and health, area law enforcement agencies and Bartell Drug are accepting unused, expired and unwanted prescription drugs, including narcotic painkillers and other medications.
