Snohomish County Fire District 1 responded to 377 calls the week of March 28 through April 3: 316 emergency medical aid calls, 15 motor vehicle collisions, 14 fires, 17 service calls, three natural gas leaks, one carbon monoxide alarm and 11 automatic fire alarms.
March 31
COLLISION: At 4:26 p.m., a child was struck by a vehicle in a parking lot in the 7200 block of 220th Street S.W. in Edmonds. The child was transported by firefighters to Harborview Medical Center.
COLLISION: At 9:55 p.m., firefighters responded to a two-car collision at 171st Place Southwest and Larch Way east of Lynnwood. Two people with injuries were transported to Evergreen Hospital.
April 1
TRUCK FIRE: At 1:21 a.m., firefighters extinguished a truck on fire in the carport of a home in the 20900 block of 88th Place Weste in Edmonds. They got the fire out before it could extended to the house. No one was injured.
April 3
STOVE FIRE: At 2:30 p.m., firefighters responded to an oven fire at a condominium in the 12700 block of Admiralty Way south of Everett. The fire was contained to the oven. No one was injured.
BICYCLE-CAR COLLISION: At 3:48 p.m., firefighters responded to a report of a bicyclist struck by a car at 164th Street Southwest and Larch Way east of Lynnwood. The bicyclist had minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
