Our Forever Home Dog of the Week: Harley

HarleyMy Edmonds News presents the Forever Home Dog of the Week, Harley. She’s a 4-year-old female Husky mix who was surrendered by her family as they were working long hours and wanted her to be with a family that had more time for her. She’s a very smart and loving girl. She would do best with a yard to play in or frequent visits to a dog park. She loves being outside. She loves to play with other dogs.

Harley is spayed, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee is $350.

If you are interested in adopting Tyson, here’s the process

– Fill out the Adoption Application and email it to info@foreverhomedogrescue.org

– Your application will be screened and you will receive a phone call with more information.

– A Meet and Greet will be set up. All members of your household (dogs and humans) must attend the meet and greet.

– Pay the adoption fee, sign the adoption contract and receive the dog’s health records.

  1. I’m sure there are many families that would love to adopt this dog, but the adoption fee of $350 is outrageous. You do a disservice to many families who would be good caretakers of animals and give them the love and attention they deserve because of this high adoption fee. If you think that by asking for a high adoption fee you will get quality families to adopt, you are seriously wrong! I would rather give a dog away for free to someone I felt would take care of the dog rather than to someone who could afford the $350 fee who thinks it’s cute for a while until they realize that the dog is too much trouble and relegates it to the back yard without attention
