Panel on reducing gun violence set for Tuesday, April 9 at Edmonds church

Two Edmonds churches are sponsoring a panel discussion, “Reducing Gun Violence in Washington – A Moral Imperative,” on Tuesday, Aprill 9 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Edmonds United Methodist Church, 828 Caspers St. The event is hosted by EUMC and sponsored by the Peace & Justice Committee of Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Church.

Panelists include Ralph Fascitelli, president of the board of Washington Ceasefire; Rev. Sanford (Sandy) Brown, Seattle First United Methodist Church and member of the Faith Action Network; John Lovick, Snohomish County Sheriff; Christian Sinderman, strategist, Washington Alliance for Gun Responsibility; Marina Moscovici & Maryjane Wheble, parents and recently relocated long-time Newtown, Conn. residents; and Pamela Van Swearingen, local attorney.
