In poet Amanda Laughtland’s world, “it’s always poetry month.” But for the rest of the United States, poetry springs just one month: April. In honor of the month of verse, Edmonds Literary Series is featuring Laughtland and her found poetry in the Edmonds Library on Thurs., from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Laughtland teaches English at Edmonds Community College and is faculty adviser for the college literary/arts magazine, Between the Lines. She teaches an online poetry class and blogs on her TeenyTiny website.
