Mr. Van Hee,
I’ve been admiring your photos on My Edmonds News for some time. You really take amazing nature photos. But importantly, you always seem to be in the right place at the right time! Thanks for bringing attention to Edmonds’ natural wonders and, especially, our wildlife preserve.

Mr. Senderoff,
Thank you for your generous comments. Edmonds Marsh and waterfront are among the greatest places on earth to get bird photos. There are many bird types that change with the seasons. Most of the birders I find at the sites know much more about birds than I do and are very friendly and helpful. In this case I got lucky, taking many photos of unknown (at the time) birds. This photo was one of them.
