In celebration of the new Swedish/Edmonds Cancer Institute opening, the public is invited to tour the facility tomorrow, Wed., from 4-7 p.m. The $10.9 million institute was partially funded by the generosity of the community, and brings “state-of-the-art cancer care closer to home,” according to Swedish/Edmonds chief executive David Jaffe, who spoke at a reception Tuesday night.
For more information on the facility, see the hospital website.
Congratulations Swedish! This is a victory for our community. Thank you for investing in the health and wellness of Edmonds.
My wife has been treated by Dr. McGee and his staff for over 20 years. You can’t ask for better cancer care than she has received. Congratulations on your new location.
And adding to our local Hwy 99 neighborhood by removing the blight from the old car junk yard. Now, from 216th up to 220th, we have well maintained and active businesses along this stretch of the Highway. A real plus for the City.
