The Edmonds Floretum Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale Saturday, May 4 between 9 a.m. and noon in the PCC parking lot, 100th and Edmonds Way in Edmonds. There will be a variety of annuals and perennials (including trillium), small trees, shrubs, and native plants. Proceeds will benefit the club’s scholarship fund, awarded yearly to local college horticulture students.
There will be many garden-related gift items available at the Garden Boutique. Garden art, hypertufa containers and vases are among the items offered. Many will be suitable for Mother’s Day.
The plant sale has been an annual event of the Edmonds Floretum Garden Club the first weekend in May since 1923. Members grow most of the plants and make them available at very reasonable prices. To get the best selection, gardeners are advised to get there early. Members will also be available to answer garden related questions.
