Each year, Edmonds in Bloom holds a fundraising event the day before Mothers Day called Kids Plant for Mom’s Day.  This year, the event is held at the Edmonds Farmers Market, 5th Avenue North and Bell Street, on Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Children of all ages get to pick a pot to decorate for Mom and then plant it with a variety of plants of their choice. A $9 donation for the cost of materials is much appreciated.

You can also enjoy these other events in downtown Edmonds Saturday:

  • Join the Children’s Fairy Flower Parade from the Edmonds Library at noon.
  • Make a free Mothers Day Card at C’est La Vie, 320 5th Ave South.
