Hawaiian singer to perform free concert at Edmonds Senior Center Sunday

The Edmonds Senior Center is hosting a free performance by award-winning Hawaiian songwriter and vocalist Amy Hanaiali’l on Sunday, May 5,  at 1 p.m. in the upstairs ballroom. Everyone is welcome to attend the performance, which is made possible by the Edmonds Center for the Arts community outreach program.

The singer is Hawaii’s official Music Ambassador as proclaimed by Hawaiian Governor Linda Lingle. Hanaiali’i’s second album, “Hawaiian Tradition,” placed her on the World Billboard Charts, a first for an album written solely in the Hawaiian Language.
