Five Edmonds-area high school students have been awarded scholarships of $3,000 each from the Lynnwood Rotary Club based on their academic and vocational achievements. Those honored are Edmonds-Woodway High School students Katelin Kobuke, Sophie Shanshory, Srip Ouk and Isabelle Yalowicki and Meadowdale High School student (and My Edmonds News columnist) Caitlin Plummer.
Funding for the scholarships was provided by Lynnwood Rotary Community Foundation through a generous gift from the Martha Lake Community Club. A total $27,000 was awarded to students in the Edmonds School District service area.
