Meadowdale High School’s baseball team scored five runs in the first inning on their way to a 6-1 win over Marysville-Pilchuck in the first round of the 3A district baseball playoffs Saturday afternoon.

Mavs’ sophomore Elliott Reece earned the win for Meadowdale.

Meadowdale (10-11) now faces Glacier Peak in a winner-to-state game at Meridian Park Fields, 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
