The Meadowdale Mavericks softball team scored four runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to earn a come-from-behind 5-3 win over Glacier Peak in the District 1 3A softball playoffs Tuesday night. The win qualified the Mavs (11-2) for a state berth and also put them into the district championship game vs. Mountlake Terrace at 6 pm. Thursday.
Earlier in the afternoon, Meadowdale beat Oak Harbor 7-2 to keep them in the winner’s bracket.
