In background, staffing the table, are players Ryan Herman and Braxton Griffin with SeaWolves General Manager (and Edmonds resident) Jim Underhill.Children celebrate spring during the annual Fairy and Flower parade down Main Street.Bob McChesney, Port of Edmonds Executive Director and Edmonds Rotary member, was at the Garden Market selling raffle tickets for the Rotary-sponsored Edmonds Jazz Connection, and here makes a sale to Darryl Ulskey and daughter Annmarie. The Jazz Connection, held on Memorial Day weekend, brings together high schools, community colleges and middle schools for performances and instruction. Admission is free.At the Watershed Fun Fair at Yost Park, Peggy Foreman of NOAA was on hand with this life-size whale to talk about Orca whales and NOAA’s efforts to track the health and whereabouts of these endangered mammals. Foreman says the whales can be spotted at times from Edmonds as they pass through to feeding grounds, and you can learn more about places to view them at the Whale Trail website.
