Edmonds-Woodway’s softball team saw its season come to an end Friday afternoon with a 6-5 loss to Lynnwood in nine innings. The Royals, 7-14 overall, earned a berth in the 4A district playoffs with the win. The Warriors ended their season 6-15.
E-W’s Brooklyn Bailey and Taylor Jones had doubles while Kaylie Whitmore hit a triple in the loss.
