Thank you Teresa for your – as usual – excellent coverage of a community event. The chamber is very pleased that our second running of this business expo drew an even larger number of visitors and demonstrated the value in showcasing our service businesses. We have two primary objectives for the expo: first, provide a networking opportunity for our service businesses, and throughout the day they moved around to connect with old and new contacts. Second, acquaint our residents and visitors with the many service businesses in Edmonds that they might not know enough about or simply wish to learn more. As a community we clearly are stronger when our residents look first to our own businesses and consider “Patronize Local” as often as possible. No city our size has a complete listing; however, we do have a large number of very qualified service businesses, as was evident to all who visited the Edmonds Conference Center this past Saturday. It was a success and we are already working on Edmonds Business Expo 2014!
We, R.H. Smith Construction were one of the vendors and were very pleased with the foot traffic. NOTE: Maybe you could list all the business’s that participated!! Not just two.
Thank you for a well organized event!
I have asked the Chamber for a list and I am happy to post all participants!
All of us at the Driftwood Players want to thank the Edmonds Chamber of Commerce and all participating businesses for “making our day” on Saturday. We had a ball chatting with fellow business owners and residents of Edmonds.
We hope we weren’t too much of a distraction with our colorful tee shirts and funny hats. But we just cannot help ourselves. We are a community theatre group…
just a bunch of “hams”!
We love the town of Edmonds and are glad that we finally found a home at the Wade James Theater in 1969. According to the media, we “drifted” around town
from 1957 to 1969. Yes, the media really used that exact term.
Anyway, we want to thank you for stopping by our booth on Saturday. If you are interested in volunteering, donating, or just being a patron, please check out our organization

What a fun day! I had a great time meeting other business owners and talking to folks about singing and singing camp. Now I have a discount coupon for the UPS store, facial oil to use from Elemental Massage AND I’m getting a Spanish exchange student this summer. Whew 🙂
It really was an “Edmonds Kind of Day.” Thanks to the Chamber of Commerce for organizing the event.
