The City of Edmonds will hold an open house Thursday, June 20 so that citizens can learn more about a recommended solution for flooding at Dayton Street and Highway 104 and provide their feedback. The meeting will be from 6:30-8 pm. in the third floor Brackett Room of Edmonds City Hall, 121 5th Ave. N.
The city’s Public Works and Utilities Department Engineering Division has evaluated the causes of flooding at the intersection and has developed a $9 million alternative, which includes the daylighting of Willow Creek. The presentation will be the same one given to Edmonds City Council on May 28.
Representatives of the engineering firm SAIC, who assisted the city on this project, will be available to answer questions following the presentation.
