A 40-year-old Edmonds man was transported Harborview Medical Center Wednesday evening after he crashed his vehicle into another car near 210th Street Southwest and 74th Avenue West, left the scene, then rolled the vehicle in a yard in the Maplewood neighborhood.
According to Edmonds police spokesman Sgt. Mark Marsh, police were dispatched to the scene of the first collision at around 6:50 p.m., after the driver had left the scene. As the officers continued their investigation, witnesses called 911 to report a recklessly driven vehicle at 198th Street Southwest and 80th Avenue West, which turned out to be the same one involved in the first crash. The vehicle went through a yard and rolled over.
The driver was transported to Harborview Medical Center “with undetermined injuries,” Marsh said. In both collisions, no one else was injured other than the driver.
Alcohol or drugs are believed to be factor. The investigation is continuing with multiple charges expected, Marsh added.
