Scriber Lake teachers honored for their work with students

At Tuesday's Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Club meeting, two Scriber Lake High School teachers received Paul Harris Fellowships for their contributions to the values of Rotary.

At Tuesday’s Edmonds Daybreakers Rotary Club meeting, two Scriber Lake High School teachers received Paul Harris Fellowships for their contributions to the values of Rotary.  Instructors Marjie Bowker and Ingrid Ricks were honored for their work with Scriber Lake students who have now published two books about their life experiences: “You’ve Got It All Wrong,” and “We Are Absolutely Not Okay.”

A release party celebrating the student writers of “You’ve Got It All Wrong” will be held this Thursday, June 6, from 5 – 8 p.m., at Café Louvre. The public is invited.
