A beautiful reminder of why we need to be ever vigilant in protecting our environment and all those creatures great and small, including ourselves…….
Recently on my day to day walks through Edmonds I noticed another old house (40s/50s) being developed into a new house and construction debris from the interior of the old house all over on the ground. One could easily assume that there was a good chance that there was some old asbestos in that house, whether the roof, the attic, the flooring, etc. We should all be asking the question of our city government in regards to developers/construction contractors being responsible for asbestos abatement PRIOR to these houses being torn apart and the debris that is left to float in our environment here…. . …..it only takes ONE tiny filament of asbestos to poison any living creature. Anybody know about this?….We have two more old houses coming down right behind us …….
