Taken Tuesday night in front of Cest la Vie on 5th Avenue South, it's an Edmonds Kind of Tradition to put your lawn chairs out early to guarantee a seat for the July 4th parade.

  1. We had our chairs out very early too but were greatly amused at 4 chairs with notes on them.
    1st read old and achie need this chair. 2nd read 72 and tired need this chair. 3rd chair note said im 75 and ache all over -need this chair.
    4th Chair: IT SAID” I’M the son-in-law and I have to wait on these 3 chairs.
    The chairs were on 5th between walnut and maple on the west side. Wish I had taken a picture
    and sent it in. It was quite amusing.
