Just a short drive from the Edmonds side of Lake Ballinger, the second annual Bluegrass on the Green festival is under way now, bringing world-class entertainment to the Nile Country Club. Local bluegrass bands are taking the stage with bands from across the US, providing non-stop music and a wide variety of toe-tapping tunes.
And it’s not just music. There are vendor booths offering a variety of items for sale, a beer and wine garden, food vendors, raffles and more. And if you can’t find the right treat for your taste buds at the booths, walk over to the Nile Clubhouse where you’ll find the restaurant and bar in open and available to festival patrons.
There’s still one more day left, and the weather forecast looks perfect. Gates open at 8 am, and there’s a $5 pancake breakfast available for early birds. A full day ticket costs $20.
So pack up your lawn chair and c’mon over. You’ll be glad you did.

I wish I’d known about this before it happened. Any chance you can start an e-m list to alert us when it will be held next year? Thanks
