Alfred Yi, a senior at Edmonds-Woodway High School, has been named to the All-National Honor Band through the National Association for Music Education (NAfME). He received the honor after placing first in Washington State for Bassoon at the State Solo and Ensemble contest last April.
Honor ensembles will perform Oct. 27-30 in Nashville, Tenn, in the Presidential Ballroom of the Gaylord Opryland Hotel. He will perform with the Honor band on Wednesday. Oct. 30.
