A representative of Seal Sitters, a volunteer group that watches over the youngsters when they come ashore, was looking after the pup Tuesday, but she wasn’t sure what the wounds were from, Harles said.

  1. I wonder if anyone knows how this animal was injured, this looks bad, it could get infected and the animal could lose his life. I wonder if someone could capture him and bring him back to health.. This is sad..

  2. They probably won’t mess with the seal, but I would be curious if there are fishermen out there blasting them with BBC’s, etc…they are not a fisherman’s friend.
