About two dozen volunteers from Edmonds’ Westgate Chapel spent their Saturday morning at Edmonds Cemetery cleaning gravestones of those buried at the City of Edmonds-owned facility.

According to City Parks Manager Rich Lindsay, volunteer efforts like these are much appreciated in light of recent city budget cuts to its seasonal park maintenance staff. You can learn more about volunteering on the City of Edmonds website.

And the recommended method for cleaning a headstone? Regular dishwashing liquid, Lindsay said.
