Despite the rainy weather, the Edmonds Coldwell Banker Bain office reported “an excellent turnout” during its annual pumpkin-carving event, held last Sunday in downtown Edmonds. “We collected over $300 for the local food banks, and the free showing of the Wizard of Oz was well attended,” said broker Andrea Fjortoft, who offered thanks to Edmonds Theater for allowing use of their facility,

“The Just Frogs activity tent was a huge hit, thanks to Thayer Cueter and her assistants, Bob and Carolyn,” Fjortoft added. “Our pumpkins were generously donated by these generous Edmonds grocers: QFC, IGA and TOP Foods. We ended up having a few left over, which we dropped off at the Edmonds Food Bank this morning. They were deeply grateful as they have less on hand to give.”
