Edmonds-based MS Helping Hands and the Donor Closet are seeking donations of durable medical and mobility equipment.
These donations to MS Helping Hands are made available to people needing assistance in a home setting after an illness or accident, through the organization’s Donor Closet. This gives them the ability to stay in their homes, to not feel isolated, be able to work, and live healthier lives, said MSHH Executive Director Jan Vance.
You can also help MSHH, an all-volunteer organization, by volunteering your time, making a donation or sponsoring one of their events. Since MS Helping Hands is a 501(c) 3 organization, your donations may be tax-deductible, Vance noted.
The MSHH Donor Closet is located under the Edmonds IGA Grocer at 409 Howell Way The Donor Closet it open Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Call 425-712-1807 for more information.
