Senior Care Coalition to host fashion show benefit Thursday

The Senior Care Coalition is hosting a Walk & Roll Through the Years fashion show from 4-6 p.m. this Thursday, Oct. 24 at the Edmonds Conference Center.

According to coalition member Barbara Kindness, all of the fashion show models are seniors, and the oldest is 94. The models will be showing fashions from the 1930s to today and will be wearing their own vintage jewelry. Clothing is being provided by Edmonds/South County Senior Center and Red Light Vintage Clothing.

Seating is limited and tickets are available online here. You can also buy a ticket by calling Kindness at 206-473-9416. Cost is $20 per person and Includes one complimentary glass of wine and hors d’oeuvres.

All proceeds from the event will go to purchase “Secret Santa” gifts for people living in senior living centers without family.
