TOP Food and Drug, located at the corner of 220th Street Southwest and Highway 99 in Edmonds, is celebrating its 80th birthday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.
Customers can enjoy birthday cake and coffee, plus Haggen Best of the Best samples throughout the store.
Jim Underhill, who lives nearby, reports that TOP staff are already wearing the uniform of the 80 years back, including black slacks, white shirts and black bow ties.
