Two from Edmonds-Woodway qualify for state cross-country

Two Edmonds-Woodway High School students — Miler Haller and Hailey Kettel — qualified for the State 4A cross country meet during the Bi-District Cross Country Championship Monday at Lake Sammamish State Park.

The event had been postponed from Saturday due to bad weather.

Haller qualified for state on the boys side after finishing fifth overall with a time of 15 minutes, 44.5 seconds. Kettel placed 13th for the girls with a time of 18:56.2.
