One of the items won by My Edmonds News advertising and marketing director Maggie Peterson and her husband Rocky during Friday night’s 9/11 Memorial fundraising auction was a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, which was personally delivered Saturday to their home by auction organizer and Edmonds firefighter Dave “Bronco” Erickson and fellow firefighters.
“Since we already had a tree in the house, we decided to set it up on the porch,” Peterson noted.
Edmonds firefighters are working to raise $150,000 for the memorial, planned for just outside Fire Station 17 in downtown Edmonds. A model for the park can be viewed at the fire station, located at 6th and Sprague, or online at www.edmonds911memorial.org. Donations can also be made online.
Hello,
i wish to inform you that Brenda Owens donated all the ornaments on the tree you bought and she also dressed it all day Thursday before the event.
