Girls basketball: Down 22 at half, Warriors come back to beat Jackson 78-71

warrior logoEdmonds-Woodway’s girls basketball team didn’t let a 22-point half-time deficit keep them down Friday night.

Playing on their home court, the Warriors trailed Jackson 48-26 going into the third quarter, but outscored the Timberwolves 52-23 in the second half to take a 78-71 win.

Jackson was led by Kelli Kingma, who scored 27 of her 29 points in the first half.

Sidney Eck led the charge for the Warriors, scoring 22 points. Natalie Kasper added 20 and Missy Peterson scored 10.
