You can lower your tax bill and help people at the same time by donating to the Edmonds Goodwill by Dec. 31.
Gather clothing, books, shoes, toys, electronics, furniture or anything else that you’re not using. Donations are tax-deductible because Goodwill is a non-profit organization and every donor can receive a tax receipt.
Your donations help people in the community get jobs and support themselves and their families. Goodwill sells your donations in its 23 nonprofit retail thrift stores, located throughout the central and northern Puget Sound region and uses the net proceeds to offer free job training and education.
Goodwill also participates in a successful program called E-Cycle Washington. Just bring in your old televisions, computers, monitors and laptops and they will be recycled free of charge.
The Edmonds Goodwill store is located at 10117 Edmonds Way.
