Special things are happening on the Edmonds waterfront Tuesday, Dec. 10.
From 2-6 p.m., have your photo taken with Santa Claus at Waterfront Coffee Company, 101 Main Street next to the Edmonds ferry dock. Photos are provided by Headspinners Photography and Magic Photo, and donations are appreciated. All proceeds will benefit Clothes for Kids, which provides wardrobes for school-age children from low-income families in the Edmonds School District.
From 7:10-7:30 p.m., the Argosy Christmas Ship will be at the Edmonds Fishing Pier, where you can join the Choir of the Sound singing carols on the Argosy Christmas Ship, before it departs for Richmond Beach.
From 6-8 p.m., Just Frogs Toads Too Amphibian Center, located adjacent to the Edmonds Fishing Pier, is hosting an open house aimed at families who want to enjoy the Christmas Ship visit. There will be hot beverages, cookies and candy canes for youngsters of all ages.
Each year since 1949, the Argosy Christmas Ship has been sailing to different Puget Sound waterfront communities, over 45 in total. Choirs onboard sing 20-minute performances to these communities, all broadcast via state-of-the-art speaker system, so that people can sing along on shore.
Big crowd, wonderful music, many toured our Amphibian Center! Thanks to IGA and Top Foods for the cookies, candy canes, apple cider, and Argosy Cruises for continuing this Christmas tradition!
