Edmonds-Woodway High School’s Caitlin Yanos won the judge’s vote in Wednesday night’s final round of the annual Terrace Idol competition, held at Mountlake Terrace High School. Yanos performed an original song “Now or Never.” The fan vote was won by Mountlake Terrace High School’s Maddy Caiola, who performed “After Tonight.”

Judges were Ariana Deboo, a 2010 Terrace graduate who won Terrace Idol in 2008, Justin Correa, a 2009 Terrace graduate who was active in the school’s music programs, and Seattle-based jazz and pop singer Michael “Wanz” Wansley, best known for singing the hook in “Thrift Shop” by fellow Seattle natives Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Other singers who performed in Round 3 were Auryanna Ashoori from Lynnwood High School and Alisha Clingan and Dominic DeMiero from Mountlake Terrace High School.
